The Limitations of Google Glasses

Limitations of Google Glasses

So now let us discuss some of the major limitations of this classic creation called Google Glasses.

Privacy (Biggest Concern): When it comes to privacy in any sense its always an important aspect in whatever sense it may be. with Google Glasses the user can take pictures of anyone without any permission or concerning the actual person which in turn is violation of individuals privacy and no one will like it if someone just take the pictures of him/her. there are certain places where Google Glasses is prohibited so you can make out of this the privacy issues from this creation.

Overall Build: As far the overall build is concern the glasses are very fragile in nature so the outside environment elements can cause a high amount of damage to the glasses which is very risky because it comes with a cost of $1500 which is not at all a small amount.

Input Parameters: The use can give input in two ways i.e. through touch pad by swiping over the glasses or else by providing the voice commands. the first method is not useful when you want to do somethings secretly(If you know what I mean) so here comes the second one. by providing voice command you can tell glasses to take photo or to shoot a video but there are high chances that it doesn’t recognize your voice in first chance and if you are in some crowded place then there are high chance to get disturbances.

Different Accents: Google Glasses are open to world wide and anyone can use it as long as he/she wants to use it. but the main issue is each and everyone has their own way of saying things, here I mean the Accent. the Accent differs from people to people and there are high chance that this glass will not understand this accent as it might not be familiar with it.

Requirement of Apps: As Google Glasses is trending in the world but to make most out of it you need to have some well developed application which can be used with this so the output will be more and the overall cost will worth it.

Battery Life: Google Glasses to many things and to do all this things it needs to be connected to internet all day long which in turn drains the battery and the life of the battery gets to low. this is one of the limitations because it needs to have high amount of battery to stay connected all day long.
